Financing

AW-Energy is privately held by the founders, personnel and venture capital investors. First stage financing has been provided in 2005 by Aura Capital, a leading Finnish early stage venture capital investor. Second round financing was provided by Aura Capital and JNAbyss in 2006.

In order to execute the business plan and achieve the aggressive growth targets, AW-Energy is seeking further venture capital investment from prominent international VC funds having experience in the renewable energy technology market and joint venture partners for pilot plant implementation in Portugal.
